Well, let me tell ya, I been hearin’ folks talk ’bout Freddie Freeman and his wife, Chelsea, so much lately. Now, if ya don’t know who Freddie Freeman is, well, he’s a big ol’ star out there in the Major Leagues, playin’ for them Dodgers, y’know? A first baseman, a fine one at that. And his wife, Chelsea, well, she’s not just sittin’ at home doin’ nothin’. No ma’am, she’s a busy woman. She’s been married to Freddie for a long time now, since 2014. They’ve got a family, and not just any kind of family, but a good, strong one, with three children. Yes, three! Ain’t that somethin’?
Now, Freddie and Chelsea first met way back in June 2011, before they got all married and whatnot. They got engaged in January of 2014, and by November of the same year, they were sayin’ their vows. It didn’t take long for them to start their family, and today, they’ve got three young boys: Charlie, Maximus, and Brandon. The oldest, Charlie, was born in September 2016. Chelsea shared on her Instagram, bless her heart, sayin’ she was in labor for more than 24 hours before Charlie finally decided to make his grand entrance. Ended up with a C-section too, but ain’t that just how it goes sometimes?
Now, I know what you’re thinkin’, “What about their life now?” Well, let me tell ya, after Freddie spent 11 good years with the Braves, he joined the Dodgers in 2022. Now, he ain’t just playin’ for any ol’ team. He signed a big ol’ contract worth $162 million. That’s right, $162 million! A six-year deal, so he’ll be bringin’ in $27 million a year. Not bad for a fella who used to be just a regular guy, huh?
But back to Chelsea. She ain’t just sittin’ around spendin’ all that money, no ma’am. She’s been workin’ hard too. She used to be a model, but now she’s doin’ real estate. That’s right, she’s a property agent. So, she’s not just the wife of a famous ballplayer, she’s also out there makin’ a name for herself. I reckon she’s got her hands full with them three young’uns and the career she’s built for herself, but she manages just fine.
Let’s talk a bit more about the family. Freddie and Chelsea are real proud of their kids. And I can tell you, they ain’t shy about sharin’ their pride on social media. A lotta people say Chelsea is Freddie’s biggest fan, and I reckon they ain’t wrong.
