- Wake Forest: Now that was a nail-biter, kept everyone on the edge of their seats.
Then comes Colorado, and Miami Hurricanes. Them boys, they sure had their work cut out for them. Every game, a new challenge, you see?
- Colorado: A real showdown, that one was. Both teams fought hard.
- Miami Hurricanes: Always a tough match, those Hurricanes.
The whole town was talkin’, you could not go nowhere without hearin’ about the Florida State football schedule. Every game, we was all glued to our seats.

Then there was the big one, against Florida. Boy oh boy, that was the game of the year! Everyone was talkin’ about it for weeks. You could feel the excitement in the air. I remember that one ended on a high note. A sweet victory, that was!

End of the 2008 Season
They even went to a bowl game, the Champs Sports Bowl, against Wisconsin. It was a good game, but Wisconsin, they was a tough team. It was a good season, lots of ups and downs.
