Okay, so I’m a huge fan of Genshin Impact. I mean, who isn’t, right? The world is amazing, the characters are cool, and the food… oh boy, the food looks delicious. It always makes me hungry just looking at it.
So, I got this idea. I thought, “Why not make a little quiz about Genshin food?” Just a fun little thing to test my own knowledge and maybe share it with some friends. Nothing fancy, you know?
I started by gathering all the food items I could remember from the game. I went through my inventory, scrolled through the cooking recipes, and even browsed some wikis online to make sure I didn’t miss anything. It was a bit of a task, but a fun one. It’s crazy how many different dishes there are in the game!
Then, I decided to make it a multiple-choice quiz. I figured it would be the easiest format to put together and also pretty straightforward to play. I wrote down the names of the food items and then came up with some options for each one. Some were real in-game items, others were just made up, trying to make it a bit tricky. I also added a section on character specialties and favorite food because I wanted to involve the characters too.
For the character specialties, I just listed the characters and had a few dish options to choose from for each one. The favorite food section was a bit different. I gave the favorite and least favorite food and you had to guess which character it was. This is pretty fun for those who really follow the lore and character details.
I also found out about this “Gourmet Supremos: Foodie Quiz” daily commission in Inazuma while I was doing my research. I didn’t even know that was a thing! Apparently, you have to talk to this NPC named Parvaneh to start it. I’ll definitely have to check that out later. It’s cool that they have an actual quiz about food in the game itself.
After I had all the questions and answers ready, I just typed them up in a document. I thought about making it into a fancy website or something, but that seemed like a lot of work for a simple quiz. Maybe I’ll do that later if people really like it.
So yeah, that’s basically it. I just wanted to share my little Genshin food quiz project. It was a fun way to spend a few hours, and I learned a lot more about the food in the game than I expected. Maybe I should do this for other games that I enjoy.
