Okay, so I’ve been wanting to watch the Canelo vs Charlo fight for a while now. I finally got around to it last night, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride from start to finish!
First off, I looked up where I could watch the thing. Turns out, it was on some Showtime PPV and some *, I just wanted to see it.
So, I went on this site that had the full fight video highlights. I started the video, and man, the atmosphere was electric, even through the screen. You could feel the tension in the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas. It was palpable, you know?
Canelo, that Mexican legend, he came out strong. He was defending his super middleweight titles. I remember seeing somewhere that he stepped into the ring with a record of 59 wins. Can you believe that? 59! The guy’s a beast.
- The first few rounds were a bit of a feeling-out process. Both fighters were cautious, trying to gauge each other’s strengths and weaknesses.
- Then, bam! Canelo started landing some serious punches. He was throwing these heavy body shots that looked like they could crack ribs.
- Charlo, though, he was no pushover. He was the undisputed junior middleweight champ, after all. He was dodging and weaving, trying to find an opening. He did a good job, from what I saw, of rolling with the punches, like with the uppercuts.
- There was this one moment in the seventh round where Canelo dropped Charlo with a right hand. The crowd went nuts! I nearly jumped out of my seat!
- Charlo got back up, but you could tell he was shaken. Canelo just kept the pressure on, round after round. He was relentless, like a machine.
In the end, Canelo won by unanimous decision. No surprise there, really. He was just the better fighter that night. I read later he retained those super middleweight belts. It was a great fight, though. Charlo showed a lot of heart, but Canelo was just too dominant.
If you’re a boxing fan, you should definitely check out the highlights if you missed it. It’s a good watch, even if you’re not a hardcore boxing person like me. I just casually found it and watched it. I was just surfing the internet, found it, and watched it. It was that simple.
I also saw that Canelo is going to fight Munguia next. It’s probably going to be on DAZN or Amazon Prime for like 90 bucks, which is a bit steep, but hey, it’s Canelo. Gotta pay to see the best, right?
Anyway, that’s my little recap of the Canelo vs Charlo fight. Hope you enjoyed my ramblings!
