Man, I gotta tell you about my Thursday night. So, I’m a huge football fan, right? And Amazon Prime got the rights to Thursday Night Football. Sounds awesome, huh? Well, not quite.
I sat down, all excited, got my snacks ready, turned on the TV, and fired up the Prime Video app. Game time! But right from the get-go, something’s off. The picture quality? Terrible. Like, watching-through-a-potato terrible.
I started fiddling with the settings. Checked my internet speed – blazing fast, as usual. Restarted the app, rebooted my Fire TV Stick. Nothing. Still looked like a blurry mess. It’s not just blurry, though. It’s all choppy, juddery, constantly buffering. I mean, I’m paying for this, right? It’s supposed to be a premium service.
- Checked my internet speed.
- Fiddled with the app settings.
- Rebooted my device.
- Restarted the app.
I jumped online, figured I couldn’t be the only one, I googled it. Turns out, I’m not alone. Forums are full of people complaining about the same thing. Some folks are saying it’s been like this for weeks. Others are saying it depends on where you are and your connection, something about CDNs? I don’t know, I just want to watch the game in HD like it’s supposed to be.
Someone online suggested changing the channel and then changing it back. I tried that. Nope. Still bad.
Honestly, it’s frustrating. It’s 2023, we should be able to stream football without it looking like a pixelated nightmare. Amazon, you gotta fix this. It’s making it hard to enjoy the games, and it feels like a total rip-off. It almost ruins my anticipation for watching the game.
I really hoped this would be a good experience. Guess I’ll have to find somewhere else to watch the game next week. Amazon, do better!
