Okay, so I ran into this super annoying bug in Cyberpunk 2077 where my character, V, was stuck looking like a total fashion disaster. I’d swap outfits in the inventory, but nothing would change on V in the game world. Super frustrating, right?
First, I tried the basics. You know, the usual stuff:
- Restarting the game. Nope, still a fashion mess.
- Reloading an earlier save. Still no luck. V was stubbornly refusing to change clothes.
Then I got a little more serious. I went into the game settings and messed with the graphics, thinking maybe it was some weird visual glitch. I turned things down, turned them up, toggled all sorts of options. Nothing. V remained stuck in the same outfit.
Digging Deeper
I started to think it might be a mod issue. I have a few installed, mostly cosmetic stuff. So, I painstakingly disabled each mod, one by one, relaunching the game after each one to see if it made a difference. It was a long and tedious process. Still stuck!
At this point, I was getting pretty desperate. I even considered completely reinstalling the game. But before I went nuclear, I decided to double-check everything in my inventory. That means every sigle stuff I got.
Simple Solution
I found the reason after I checked my Inventory!I had equipped a special outfit given to me by one of the storylines, when equipped, will override the current outfit. I’m feeling so dumb!
So after I unequipped the spacial * problem fixed!
