Well, let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout this fella, this Cri-schi-aano Ro-nal-do. Folks keep talkin’ ’bout him and this Lever-koo-sen team, you know, the one in Germany. Never heard of it myself, but they say it’s a big deal over there.
Heard some folks sayin’ this Lever-koo-sen, they want him. This Ronaldo fella, he’s played all over, England, Spain, that Italy place, but never in Germany. Seems this Al-lon-so fella, he’s the coach or somethin’, he likes Ronaldo. Says they’re good buddies. Now, I don’t know nothin’ ’bout this Al-lon-so, but if he says Ronaldo’s good, I guess he must be alright.
- One fella, a news guy from that Saudi place, he said it was just a rumor.
- Said somethin’ ’bout Ronaldo bein’ happy where he is, playin’ for some team called Al-Nass-er.
- Said nobody’s tryin’ to get him to move, ’cause he’s doin’ just fine where he is.
This got me thinkin’, this Ronaldo fella, he must be a real good player. They said he’s played more games than anyone, over 1200 times! And goals? Lordy, more than 900! That’s a whole lotta goals, even I can understand that. Sounds like he’s been kickin’ that ball since he was a little tyke.
Then I heard somethin’ else, somethin’ ’bout him goin’ back to that Real Madrid place. Now, that one I’ve heard of. That’s the team that’s always winnin’. They said he played there before, a long time ago, from 2009 to 2018. Won all sorts of things, Champions somethin’-or-other and those Spanish league thingies. They said it was legendary. Musta been real good, I reckon. If folks are still talkin’ about it now, it musta been somethin’ special.
This Al-lon-so fella, though, he keeps poppin’ up. Guess he really likes Ronaldo. But that news guy, he said it ain’t happenin’. Said Lever-koo-sen ain’t workin’ on gettin’ him, nobody is. Said Ronaldo’s happy as a clam where he is, over there in Saudi Arabia. And why wouldn’t he be? They probably pay him a fortune. Enough to buy a whole lotta chickens, that’s for sure.
So, I guess that’s the story. Lots of talk, lots of rumors, but seems like Ronaldo ain’t goin’ nowhere. He’s stayin’ put, playin’ his games, scorin’ his goals. And that Lever-koo-sen team, well, they’ll just have to find someone else. Maybe they can get one of those other fellas, the ones who ain’t played over 1200 games and scored 900 goals. Good luck to ‘em, I say. It ain’t easy findin’ good players these days.
Anyway, that’s all I know. Just a bunch of chatter, really. But that Ronaldo, he seems like quite the fella, all that talk about him. And Lever-koo-sen, well, now I’ve heard of them too. Learn somethin’ new every day, I guess. Even an old woman like me can keep up with these fancy football fellas.
One thing’s for sure, this Cristiano fellow knows how to kick a ball. And that’s all that matters in the end, ain’t it? Kickin’ that ball and gettin’ it in the net. Whether it’s for Lever-koo-sen, Real Madrid, or that Al-Nass-er team, it don’t much matter to me. Just as long as he’s happy, and those folks watchin’ him are happy too. That’s what counts. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got some chores to do. This gossipin’ about football is tirin’ work for an old woman.
