Okay, so today I wanted to figure out what the deal was with Alex Rodriguez and football. I mean, we all know him as a baseball legend, but I kept seeing stuff pop up about football, so I was like, “Alright, let’s dive in.”
My Little Investigation
First, I started with a basic search. Just typed in “Alex Rodriguez football” to see what would come up. You know, get a feel for things.
I saw a bunch of articles and stuff, mostly talking about how he was a really good high school football player. Apparently, he was a quarterback! Who knew?
So, I dug a little deeper. I read that he was actually recruited by some big-time college football programs. Like, we’re talking serious offers here.
It seems like the University of Miami was super interested.

- Recruited by major colleges.
- University of Miami was a contender.
It’s kinda crazy to think about, right? He could have gone down a completely different path. Instead of baseball, he could have been a football star. But, it seems he decided to stick with baseball.
I guess, in the end, he made the right choice. He’s had a pretty amazing baseball career. Still, it was cool to learn about this other side of him, this “what if” scenario with football. It just show how talented is he!
