Man, I jumped into this Corsair Cup thing on Monopoly Go today, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride. It kicked off on May 23rd, and I was all over it the minute it started. I heard it was only going to run until May 24th, so I knew I had to get in there quick if I wanted to snag some goodies.
Getting Started
First off, I logged into Monopoly Go right when the clock hit the start time. I mean, who wouldn’t? Free stuff, right? The whole thing was set up as a tournament, which I thought was pretty cool. They called it the Corsair Cup Tournament. I saw there were 30 levels, or milestones as they called them, and I was like, “Challenge accepted!”
Grinding Through the Levels
- Level 1-5: These were a breeze. I was just rolling the dice, landing on tiles, and boom, I was already flying through the first few levels. I think I spent around 30 minutes here, no joke.
- Level 6-15: Okay, this is where it started to get a bit more serious. I had to actually pay attention to where I was landing and what I was doing. I started to strategize a bit, you know, making sure I was hitting the right spots.
- Level 16-25: Now we’re talking. This took up most of my day. I was glued to my phone, checking in every hour or so. I even set a few alarms, not gonna lie. It was a bit of a grind, but I was determined to get through it.
- Level 26-30: The final stretch! This was intense. I was neck and neck with some other players, and it really came down to the wire. I was using up all my saved-up dice and power-ups. I almost threw my phone when I landed on a bad spot, but hey, that’s part of the game.
The Final Push
By the time I hit the last five levels, it was already evening. I had been at it for hours. I had to make sure I managed my resources carefully. Finally, after what felt like forever, I hit level 30. I actually shouted out loud when I saw the rewards pop up. It was such a relief, but also super satisfying.
Wrapping Up
So, yeah, that was my day with the Corsair Cup on Monopoly Go. It was a 24-hour marathon, but I managed to get through all 30 milestones. I grabbed a bunch of rewards, met some cool people in the game, and had a blast. Would I do it again? Probably. It’s addicting, you know? Plus, who can say no to free stuff and a good challenge?
I feel tired now. If any new tournaments appear in the future, I think I will join again!
