Alright, folks, gather ’round, let me tell you about my little adventure with Corey Conners’ clubs. You know, I’ve always been a bit of a golf nut, and lately, I’ve been trying to up my game. So, I started digging into what the pros are using, and Corey Conners caught my eye. Guy’s a solid ball-striker, right? So, I thought, let’s see what’s in his bag.
First off, I headed over to check out his irons. I found out he’s rocking Ping Blueprint S for the 4 and 5 irons, and then Ping Blueprint T for the 6-iron through pitching wedge. Seemed like a pretty sweet setup. And the shafts? Project X 120 6.0, whatever that means. I’m no expert, but it sounded fancy.

- Ping Blueprint T (6-PW)

Next, I moved on to the wedges. Turns out, he’s got these Ping s159 things. A 50-degree and a 56-degree, both with the S12 grind. I scribbled that down, figuring it might come in handy later. I tried to swing them at a local store, it was really smooth and stable.

Now, I’m not just about the clubs, you know? I noticed Conners has been wearing these FootJoy Pro SLX shoes. They looked pretty sharp, so I decided to give them a try. And let me tell you, they’re comfy as heck. Felt like I could walk 18 holes no problem. They’ve got this standard version and a Carbon version. I went with the standard ones, ’cause, well, I’m not made of money.

Then, just for kicks, I did a little more digging into Conners himself. Found out he played for Kent State University from 2010 to 2014. Not that it matters much for his club choice, but hey, it’s interesting, right?
So, after all this, did I actually go out and buy all this gear? Nah, not yet. But I did take some notes and try out a few things at the local golf store. Maybe one day I’ll treat myself. For now, I’ll just keep dreaming of hitting the ball like Corey Conners. And honestly, just watching the guy swing, it’s like he’s got some Fred Couples magic in him. It’s pretty darn smooth.
Anyway, that’s my little journey into Corey Conners’ WITB. Hope you enjoyed the ride. I just followed the trend on the internet and share it with you guys. Maybe it inspired you to check out some new gear, or maybe you just learned a thing or two about a pro golfer. Either way, it’s all good in my book.
