Alright, let’s gab about this Corbin Carroll fella and his girlfriend, Emma somethin’-or-other. I saw some pictures of them online, the kids these days, always snappin’ photos. Corbin Carroll girlfriend, that’s what they’re callin’ her. They look happy enough, I guess. Young love, you know?
Now, I ain’t got no fancy book learnin’, but I can tell ya a thing or two about relationships. It’s all about respect and havin’ a good time together. Seein’ as how they’re always smilin’ in them pictures, I reckon they got that part figured out. They was at some fancy place in New York, the Hilton somethin’-somethin’. Must be nice to go gallivantin’ around like that.
Corbin, he plays baseball for the Diamondbacks, whatever that is. Sounds like a bunch of snakes to me! Anyways, he’s good at it, I hear. Makes a good livin’, I bet. Emma, she’s a pretty little thing. They make a handsome couple, that’s for sure. It’s always nice to see young folks doin’ well.

I don’t know much about baseball, but I know a good egg when I see one. And Corbin, he seems like a good egg. Mind you, I only seen him in pictures, but you can tell a lot from a picture, you know? The eyes, they don’t lie. And his eyes, they look kind. Emma’s too. They got that sparkle, like they’re up to somethin’ good. Probably plannin’ on gettin’ hitched and havin’ a whole passel of kids.
This Corbin fella, he’s got a sister, too. Younger than him, I think. She plays soccer, that kicky ball game. Grew up in Seattle, they did. A good family, sounds like. That’s important, you know? Comin’ from good folks. It tells ya somethin’ about a person.
Now, I ain’t got no Instagram, or whatever them young folks use these days. But my niece, she showed me the pictures. Said they were all the rage, or somethin’ like that. Kids these days, always chasin’ after the latest thing. But love, that ain’t no latest thing. That’s been around since the beginning of time. And it looks like these two young’uns, they found it.
I tell ya what, it warms my old heart to see young folks findin’ love. It ain’t always easy, you know? Life throws ya curveballs, just like that baseball game Corbin plays. But if you got someone by your side, someone who loves ya and supports ya, well, then you can handle anything.
Emma and Corbin, that’s their names, right? I hope they stay happy. I hope they build a good life together. And I hope they remember to take care of each other, no matter what. ‘Cause that’s what love is all about. It ain’t about fancy dinners or fancy clothes.
