Well, let me tell ya, this here Colorado football, they got a whole mess of fellas playin’ for ’em in 2024. You wanna know who’s who and where they’re standin’? I reckon I can help ya out with that, in my own way. This is the Colorado football projected depth chart, the way I see it.
First off, you got your quarterback. That’s the fella throwin’ the ball, you know. Seems like they got this young’un, Shedeur Sanders, leadin’ the pack. Heard he’s pretty good, throws the ball real far. He’s the starter, that’s for sure. They need someone to throw that pigskin! If he gets tuckered out or somethin’, they got others waitin’ in the wings. You know, like a backup.
Then there’s the runnin’ backs. These boys, they run like the dickens! They got a few of ’em. That Dylan Edwards, he was good last year, hope he keeps it up. And that Alton McCaskill, big fella. They gonna be runnin’ all over the place. You need them boys to get them yards, see? Gotta move that ball down the field. It ain’t rocket science.
- Shedeur Sanders, Quarterback, he’s the main guy, I reckon.
- Dylan Edwards, Runnin’ Back, fast as a greased piglet.
- Alton McCaskill, Runnin’ Back, big as a house.
And the wide receivers, they the ones catchin’ the ball. They got a whole bunch of ’em too. That Travis Hunter, he plays both ways, offense and defense! He’s somethin’ else. Then you got Jimmy Horn Jr. and Omarion Miller, and some other fellas. They gotta have good hands, these boys, to catch that ball. Ain’t no droppin’ it allowed!
Now, the offensive line, them’s the big boys up front. They gotta protect the quarterback and make holes for the runnin’ backs. It’s a tough job, let me tell you. Pushin’ and shovin’ all day long. They got names like Tyler Johnson, Savion Washington, and other big fellas. You don’t want to mess with them boys, no sir.
- Travis Hunter, he’s a special one, playin’ on both sides of the ball.
- Jimmy Horn Jr., hope he can catch good this year.
- Omarion Miller, another receiver, gotta have good hands.
Then we get to the defense. That’s the side tryin’ to stop the other team from scorin’. They got their own bunch of fellas, just like the offense. First, you got your defensive line. They right up front, just like the offensive line, but they tryin’ to get to the other team’s quarterback and stop the run. Big, strong fellas, they are. Names like Chazz Wallace and Shane Cokes. Mean as junkyard dogs, some of ’em.
Then you got the linebackers. They in the middle of the defense. They gotta be quick and strong, able to tackle anyone who comes their way. That LaVonta Bentley, he’s a good one. And that Jordan Domineck, he played pretty well last year. Hope they do it again. They’re like the sheriffs back there, keepin’ order.
After that, you got your defensive backs. They the ones tryin’ to stop the other team from catchin’ the ball. They gotta be fast and have good hands too, to knock the ball away or even catch it themselves. That Travis Hunter, like I said, he plays on this side too. Then there’s Shilo Sanders, and a few others. It’s like a whole other game back there, with them tryin’ to stop those passes.
It’s a lot to keep track of, I know. Football, it ain’t a simple game. Lots of movin’ parts. But that’s the gist of it, that’s your Colorado football depth chart for 2024, as far as I can tell. The Buffaloes, they call ’em. They got a good team, I think. They need to play as a team though, all of ’em. Every one of these fellas got a job to do, and they gotta do it right.
Remember these names now for your 2024 Colorado football. They are gonna try to win. This is their depth chart. And that Coach Sanders, Deion, he’s the boss. He’s puttin’ them through the paces, making them work hard. It’s a tough business, football, but it sure is fun to watch. If they can protect the quarterback, that Shedeur Sanders, and the defense can hold strong, they’ll do alright. It all comes down to that, don’t it?
This is the whole team, pretty much. The Colorado Buffaloes Depth Chart. They got a lot of players. And they need every one of them if they wanna win some games. They gotta block and tackle and run and catch and throw. It ain’t easy, but they’ll try their best. I’ll be watchin’, that’s for darn sure. Hope you will be watchin’ too. Go Buffaloes!
