Man, you won’t believe the rabbit hole I went down today. I was messing around, trying to see if I could recreate some classic WWE moments, you know, just for fun. So, I started with the whole Chris Jericho and Trish Stratus storyline. It’s a wild one, that’s for sure.
First off, I went back and watched a bunch of old clips. It’s pretty crazy how things started. Jericho, a total superstar, was all into Trish Stratus, who’s like, wrestling royalty. They were this power couple, or so it seemed. I was like, “Okay, this is cool, let’s see where this goes.”
- Watched a ton of their segments together, you know, the backstage stuff, the promos, the whole nine yards.
- Tried to map out their storyline, like, when did things start to go south?
Then, I got to WrestleMania XX. This is where things get juicy. I set up this whole scenario, trying to recreate their match. I even made these little figures, it was kind of fun, like playing with action figures but with a purpose. In my little setup, I had Trish “accidentally” elbow Jericho, just like in the real match. It’s funny how a small thing like that can change everything.
This is where it gets wild. After that elbow, Christian, who’s another big name, wins the match. I’m sitting there, moving my figures around, and I have Trish turn on Jericho. She goes full-on heel, siding with Christian. I even wrote out this little speech for her, something like, “Christian’s a real man, Jericho’s just a lovesick puppy.” It was pretty dramatic, I gotta say.
The Aftermath
After setting all this up, I did some more digging. Turns out, this wasn’t the first time Trish had a thing with a wrestler. There was this whole deal with Jeff Hardy, and apparently, it happened twice! It’s like, this whole world is full of drama and twists.
So, I spent the rest of the day playing out these different scenarios. What if Trish hadn’t turned on Jericho? What if she stayed with Jeff Hardy? It’s like a “choose your own adventure” but with wrestling. It made me think, man, these storylines are way more complex than they look.
Anyway, that’s how I spent my day. Recreating wrestling drama, writing little dialogues, and just diving deep into this whole world. It’s pretty fun, you should try it sometime. It’s like being a writer, director, and actor all at once, but with way more spandex.
