Alright, so listen up, y’all. I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout this fella, Charles Oliveira, and some show called “Dance Moms”. Don’t ask me, I ain’t never watched it. Too busy with my own chickens and whatnot. But from what I gather, this Charles fella, he’s a fighter, not a dancer. He’s a big, tough guy, fights in them cage matches. You know, the ones where they punch and kick and whatnot.
Now, someone’s gone and started a rumor, sayin’ he’s gonna be on this “Dance Moms” show. Can you believe that? A grown man, beatin’ folks up one day, and then twirlin’ around with little girls and their mamas the next? Sounds like hogwash to me. This Charles fella, he said it ain’t true. And I believe him. He ain’t got time for that dancin’ stuff. He’s got trainin’ to do, fights to win. That’s his job, not shakin’ his behind on TV.
This “Dance Moms” thing, from what I hear, it’s a whole lotta drama. Mamas gettin’ all riled up, girls cryin’, and some coach stirrin’ the pot. Sounds like a hen house on a hot day, if you ask me. All that squawkin’ and fussin’, ain’t nobody got time for that. Specially not a fella like Charles. He’s gotta stay focused, gotta keep his head in the game. Can’t be worried about no dance routines and sparkly costumes.
- Charles Oliveira fights. He don’t dance.
- “Dance Moms” is full of drama, like a bunch of hens.
- Folks startin’ rumors need to mind their own business.
I reckon these rumors start ’cause folks got nothin’ better to do. They sit around, gossipin’ and makin’ stuff up. They oughta get themselves a hobby, like gardenin’ or knittin’. Keeps your hands busy and your mind outta trouble. This Twitter thing, that’s where this rumor started, they tell me. Sounds like a whole lotta trouble to me. Nothin’ good ever comes from gossipin’. Just stirs up trouble and hurts people’s feelin’s.
The show, it’s about young dancers and their mamas, always meddlin’ and fightin’. And this coach, well, they say he likes the drama. Makes for good TV, I guess, but it ain’t real life. Real life is hard work, like farmin’ or fightin’. Not prancin’ around in tutus. And folks are replaceable on that show. Heard that said somewhere. Just like in real life, I reckon. One day you’re in, the next you’re out. That’s the way of the world.
Now, some folks say the show ain’t good for them little girls. Too much pressure, they say. Too much drama. Maybe so. Kids need to be kids, playin’ outside, gettin’ dirty. Not worryin’ about perfect points and stage fright. But hey, that’s their mamas’ business, not mine. I just hope them kids are alright. Kids are precious, gotta protect ’em. They’re the future, after all.
So, this Charles Oliveira and “Dance Moms” thing? I say it’s a bunch of nonsense. Don’t believe everything you hear, that’s what I always say. Folks like to talk, like to stir up trouble. Best to just ignore ’em and go about your business. Charles, he’ll keep fightin’, and them “Dance Moms” folks will keep dancin’. And I’ll keep tendin’ to my chickens, ’cause that’s what I do. And that’s all there is to it.
This whole thing is like when those city folks come visitin’ and start talkin’ ‘bout things they don’t know nothin’ about. Just makes a body tired. They got their shows and their dramas and we got our work. Best to keep it that way.
And remember, folks talk. They always gonna talk. You just gotta learn to tune ‘em out. Focus on what’s important. For Charles that’s fighting and for me it’s makin’ sure my garden grows and my chickens lay good eggs. Simple as that.
