Okay, so I’ve been seeing Conor McGregor’s suits everywhere, and I gotta say, the man knows how to rock a three-piece. I decided I wanted to try and recreate one of his looks, just for fun, you know? Not like I’m going to the ESPYs or anything, haha.

First thing I did was scour the internet for pictures. I mean, really scoured. I spent like two hours just looking at different outfits he’s worn. He’s got so many! I finally settled on one of his more classic looks – a navy blue three-piece with a crisp white shirt and a bold tie. Simple enough, right?
The Hunt Begins
Next, I hit the stores. I wasn’t about to drop thousands on a custom-made suit like McGregor, no way. I checked out a few department stores and some of those suit outlet places. I found a decent navy blue suit at one place, but the fit was kinda off. The jacket was too boxy, and the pants were, well, let’s just say they weren’t exactly “tailored.”
I kept looking. I went to another store, and bingo! I found a suit that was pretty close to what I wanted. The color was right, and the fit was much better, though still not perfect. It was a two-piece, not a three-piece, but I figured I could find a vest separately.
The Vest Quest
Finding a matching vest was harder than I thought. I tried a bunch of different stores, but nothing seemed to match the suit exactly. I finally decided to just get a vest in a similar shade of blue. Close enough, I thought.
Shirt and Tie Time
The white shirt was easy. I already had a few good white dress shirts. The tie, though… that was another story. McGregor often wears these really bold, patterned ties. I wanted something with some personality, but not too crazy. I ended up getting a navy blue tie with some small, subtle red dots. It added a little pop of color without being too over-the-top.

Tailoring is Key
Even though the suit fit better than the first one, it still needed some work. I took it to a tailor to get the pants hemmed and the jacket taken in a bit at the waist. It made a HUGE difference. Seriously, tailoring is everything. It can make a cheap suit look like a million bucks.
The final result:
- I put the whole outfit on, and it fit much better.
- I am happy.
So, that’s my Conor McGregor suit adventure! It was a fun little project, and I learned a lot about suits in the * is magic and I might need more suits.
