I got up this morning, and the first thing on my mind was, “It’s Saturday, and that means it’s time for some college football!” But not just any game, I was hyped for the whole “Big Noon Kickoff” experience. You know, that pregame show on Fox? It’s become a weekend ritual for me.
So, I grabbed my phone and started digging around a bit. Turns out, Fox started this whole “Big Noon” thing a while back, in 2017. I guess no other channel had games on at noon, so they saw an opening and took it. Smart move, if you ask me.
I fired up the TV and flipped to Fox. There it was, “Big Noon Kickoff” in all its glory. They were live from some college campus, and the energy was electric. You could tell everyone there was pumped for the game. These guys, they really know how to throw a pregame party. It’s like the best one in college football, seriously.
I spent the next hour just soaking it all in. They had former players, analysts, you name it. They were breaking down the upcoming games, showing highlights, and just generally getting everyone excited for the day’s matchups. I saw that guy, Brady Quinn, he used to be a pro quarterback. He’s one of the hosts of this show, he’s pretty good and very exciting.
It’s not just a show, it’s an experience, you know? It gets you in the mood for some football, makes you feel like you’re right there in the middle of all the action. Today, they were hyping up the game in Iowa City. It was Iowa vs. Michigan. I wish I could be there. Maybe I should try to catch one of these live someday.
Before I knew it, the show was over, and it was time for the actual game to start. I felt a little sad, but also super pumped. That’s the magic of “Big Noon Kickoff,” I guess. It gets you ready for the game and then leaves you wanting more.
So yeah, that was my Saturday morning. Woke up, watched some “Big Noon Kickoff,” and got ready for a day of college football. It’s a simple routine, but it’s one of my favorites. And you know what? I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
