So I was trying to get this 4-star weapon in Wuthering Waves the other day. It’s a bit of a grind, but totally doable if you know the drill.
First off, I had to progress through the main storyline. You gotta reach the Tiger’s Maw Mine area, that’s the key. Once I got there, I started on these two quests called “Hidden Dangers in Peaceful Life” and “Shadows of the Past.” These are kinda like side quests but super important for getting the weapon selector.
After I completed those quests, I went straight to the Tiger’s Maw Ore place. There’s this guy named Shilang there who sells the 4-Star Weapon Selector chest. It costs 80 Lampylumen ores, so I had to do some mining in the Tiger’s Maw area to collect those. It took a bit of time, running around and smashing rocks, but I eventually got enough.
Getting Daily Rewards
- Do your dailies: I made sure to complete my daily tasks every day. This gave me 60 Astrite each day, which adds up to about 1800 Astrite a month. Not directly related to the weapon, but it’s good stuff for other things in the game.
Choosing the Right Weapon
- Check the best ones: I did a bit of research and found out that the Winter Brume weapons are like, the top-tier ones right now. Stuff like Abyss Surges and Cosmic Ripples. But since those are super rare, I looked at the 4-star options. Stonard, Comet Flare, Scale: Slasher, Dauntless Evernight, and Undying Flame are pretty solid choices.
Once I got my hands on the 4-Star Weapon Selector, I could finally pick the weapon I wanted. It was a bit of a relief after all that running around and mining. This whole process showed me that you can get some decent gear without spending any real money, just gotta put in the time and effort.
