Yo, what’s up, guys? It’s your boy back again with another post. Today, I’m gonna share my experience building the ultimate Mortis in Brawl Stars. I’ve been messing around with different setups, and I think I’ve finally cracked the code to make Mortis a real beast.
So, first off, I started by experimenting with the Gadgets. I tried both Combo Spinner and Survival Shovel. Let me tell you, Survival Shovel is where it’s at. That reload speed boost is a game-changer. I was initially skeptical, but after a few rounds, I noticed I could dish out way more damage in a short time. I equip it and I feel like I can go in and out of fights so much faster. It’s like Mortis on steroids, seriously. With Survival Shovel, I could quickly reload and get back in the action, which made a huge difference in those intense moments.
Next up, I tackled the Star Powers. Coiled Snake and Creepy Harvest were my choices. Now, I know a lot of people swear by Creepy Harvest for that extra healing, but hear me out. Coiled Snake is the real MVP. I found that the extra dash range let me close the gap on enemies way easier. I started using it and it is really make the enemies hard to hit me, I just dash behind them. The mobility it provides is insane. I could chase down those pesky throwers and squishy brawlers without breaking a sweat. Sure, Creepy Harvest heals you a bit, but in my experience, being able to get close and personal with your targets is way more valuable. And after I tried, I think Creepy Harvest was just making me a sitting duck for longer, and I ended up taking more damage than I could heal.
Then, I moved on to the Gears. I went with the Mythic Gear and experimented with both Damage and Shield. It really depends on your playstyle, but for me, that extra damage was essential. I combined it with the Mythic Gear, and that’s where things got crazy. My attacks were hitting harder than ever. But, if you’re getting knocked out too often, the Shield might be a better choice. For me, though, the extra damage sealed the deal.
Of course, I had to get Mortis’s Hypercharge. It is important to unlock it. This just added another layer of power, making him even more formidable. When I activate it, I feel like I can take on anyone. It’s just a straight-up power boost, and it makes all the difference in those clutch moments.
I remember one match where I was using this build. I used Coiled Snake to close in, activated Survival Shovel to unleash a flurry of attacks, and then finished them off with the Hypercharge. It was a clean sweep, and I felt unstoppable. Dodging is key, as well. I always make sure to utilize Mortis’s dash not just for attacking, but for dodging enemy fire. It’s a dance, really, and when you get it right, it’s beautiful.
In conclusion, the best Mortis build, in my experience, is:
- Gadget: Survival Shovel
- Star Power: Coiled Snake
- Gears: Mythic Gear + Damage (or Shield if you need more survivability)
- Hypercharge: Of course!
This build transformed my Mortis gameplay. I went from being just another Mortis player to dominating matches. Give it a shot, and let me know how it works for you. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Keep brawling, and I’ll catch you in the next post!
