Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this game, Clash Royale, for a while now. Clan Wars, man, that’s where the real action is, right? You gotta have the right decks, or you’re toast. So, I spent a good chunk of this year trying to figure out what works best in 2024.
First, I jumped into a bunch of matches, just throwing different card combos together. I started by focusing on a few key cards that seemed strong. Like, Pekka is a beast, so I built a deck around him. Threw in a Skeleton Army for defense, a Baby Dragon for air support, and an Ice Wizard to slow things down. Also added a Royal Princess, Miner, Executioner, and Log.

It was okay, but not amazing. I won some, lost some. It felt like it needed something more. I kept playing around, trying different things. Then I tried this other deck with Minions, Valkyrie, Musketeer, and a Hog Rider. Added a Bandit, Zap, Rage, and a Goblin Barrel just to see what would happen.

Again, it was hit or miss. I even went full-on Golem for a while, with a Knight, a Wizard, and some Spear Goblins. I thought maybe an Ice Spirit could help, so I threw that in, too.

Trying Out Different Combos
I was getting a little frustrated, to be honest. It felt like I was just guessing. So, I went online, checked out what some other folks were saying. Found some interesting ideas there, like this deck with Spear Goblins, Miner, Bats, and a Skeleton Barrel. Some people were also using Wall Breaker and Mother Witch, so I gave that a shot.

I experimented with another one that had Valkyrie, Royal Princess, Ice Spirit, Goblin Gang, and an Inferno Dragon. It seemed pretty solid on paper, but it didn’t always work out in practice.

Then I had this crazy idea to try Hog Rider, Inferno Dragon, Electro Wizard, and Bandit together. It was a total gamble, but hey, sometimes you gotta take risks, right?

Back to the Drawing Board
After all that, I realized there’s no magic formula. What works for one person might not work for another. And the meta keeps changing, so you gotta stay flexible. I remember seeing some decks from 2023 that people were still talking about. One had Spear Goblins, an Ice Golem, a Cannon Cart, Royal Hogs, and a Magic Archer.

Another one from last year used a Knight, Pekka, Baby Dragon, Royal Ghost, Ram Rider, and Poison. I played around with that one a bit, and it was actually pretty decent.

There was even a simpler one with just a Knight, Skeletons, Royal Princess, and an Ice Spirit that some folks swore by.

So, what did I learn from all this? Well, first off, you gotta experiment. Don’t be afraid to try new things, even if they seem crazy. Second, pay attention to what other people are doing. You don’t have to copy them exactly, but it can give you some good ideas. And finally, don’t get discouraged if things don’t work out right away. It takes time and practice to find the best decks for Clan Wars. Just keep playing, keep learning, and eventually, you’ll figure it out.
