Alright, so I’ve been messing around with Amber in Brawl Stars for a while now, trying to figure out the best way to play her. It’s been a bit of a journey, let me tell you.
I started off just randomly picking gadgets and star powers, not really knowing what I was doing. I mean, who reads the descriptions, right? Turns out, that’s a pretty bad strategy. I got my butt kicked more times than I care to admit.
So, I decided to actually, you know, put some thought into it. I went through all of Amber’s gadgets, read up a bit on them, and started experimenting. I tried out “Fire Starters” first. The idea of leaving a trail of fire sounded cool, and it was, but I found myself just running around setting things on fire and not really doing much damage to the other brawlers.
Then I switched to the “Dancing Flames” gadget. I thought it would be great in theory to have more fire, but in practice, it didn’t really work out that way. I felt like I had to get too close to make it effective, and then I’d just get taken out real quick.
- Tried “Fire Starters” – fun but not effective.
- Tried “Dancing Flames” – felt clumsy, got too close too often.
After messing with gadgets, I moved on to star powers. “Wild Flames” seemed interesting, you know, setting fire to bushes. But honestly, it wasn’t as game-changing as I hoped. I mean, how often are you really fighting in bushes anyway?
But then, I tried “Scorchin’ Siphon”. And guys, that’s when things started to click. Being able to reload faster while standing in my own fire? That was a game changer. Suddenly, I could be way more aggressive, keep the pressure on, and not worry so much about running out of ammo at the wrong time.
- Tried “Wild Flames” – not as useful as I thought.
- “Scorchin’ Siphon” – the winner! Faster reload is huge.
My Winning Combo
So, after all that trial and error, here’s what I landed on as my go-to Amber build:
Gadget: Fire Starters
Star Power: Scorchin’ Siphon
It might not be perfect for everyone, but this combination really suits my playstyle. I like to keep moving, keep the fire flowing, and keep the enemy on their toes. This build lets me do all of that. I can get into the fray and use my fire to keep pressure on the opponent, and the faster reload lets me keep dishing out the damage without being vulnerable. It’s been working pretty well for me.
Give it a shot, and let me know what you think! I feel like I’ve finally cracked the code to playing Amber effectively, but maybe that’s just me.
