So, I was watching NXT No Mercy last night, you know, just chilling and enjoying some wrestling. And man, the main event was Becky Lynch vs. Tiffany Stratton. They were going at it, hard. It was a pretty brutal match, and things got a bit wild.
During the match, Becky and Tiffany were brawling near the commentary table. At one point, Tiffany shoved Becky, and I guess Becky’s head hit something sharp. I saw blood almost immediately. It looked pretty bad, she was bleeding quite a bit from the top of her head. They didn’t stop the match or anything. Becky just kept going, she’s tough as nails. She actually ended up winning and retaining her NXT Women’s Championship! Can you believe that?
Here’s the thing though:
- I started thinking, “How do they deal with injuries like that in wrestling?”
- I mean, it’s not like they can just call a timeout and get stitches right there in the ring.
So, after the show, I did a little digging. Turns out, Becky needed stitches after all. I guess they patched her up backstage after the match. From what I gathered, it seems like this kind of thing happens sometimes in wrestling. They’re used to dealing with cuts and stuff.
Going a Step Further
I got curious about how many stitches she actually needed. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any official word on that. But, I saw some people online saying she probably got around 7-8 stitches. That’s just speculation though. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if Becky shares any details later on her social media or in an interview.
Anyway, it was a crazy night in NXT. Becky Lynch showed everyone why she’s called “The Man”. She’s a true fighter, battling through a tough match and even getting busted open, but still coming out on top. I have even more respect for her now. I was so impressed by her toughness that I decided to share the whole experience with you all. That’s the story of Becky Lynch’s stitches, from a fan’s perspective.
