And maybe learnin’ a few new words along the way, even if they’re silly like “meeple”. He also said somethin’ ’bout “Nissan” bein’ a “leaf maker”. Didn’t make no sense to me, cars ain’t got nothin’ to do with leaves. But he said it was just a trick in the puzzle.
So, this “excuses crossword”… it’s about findin’ those reasons, those explanations, those little white lies we tell sometimes. Whether it’s online or in the newspaper, it’s a way to keep your brain workin’. And maybe, just maybe, it’ll help us think twice before we make an excuse next time.
