Okay, so I’ve been grinding for the Astral Horizon shotgun, you know, the one that hits like a truck but kicks like a mule? I finally got my hands on it! I was pumped! It wasn’t the Adept version, but who cares, it was still the Astral Horizon.
First thing I did was take it out for a spin in some PVE content. I was blasting through enemies. Felt amazing! It was shredding everything, to say the least. The increased rate of fire after a kill? Oh boy, that was noticeable.
Then, I thought, “Let’s see how this thing does in the Crucible.” That’s where the real test was. It is a bit of a different story there. I’m still getting the hang of it, but man, that recoil is something else. It was a bit hard to control the recoil. I really need to adjust my aim. I need to get those follow-up shots on target.
I’ve spent a good chunk of time messing around with different perks and mods. I’ve been trying all sorts of combinations, seeing what sticks. What worked best for me, and what felt the most comfortable, you know?
Even though I’ve got a decent roll on it, there’s still room for improvement. I’m not giving up on finding that god roll, the perfect combination of perks that will turn this beast into a monster. But it is hard.
I’ll keep grinding, keep experimenting. Maybe I’ll even try to get the Adept version. I heard that one is even better! Who knows. But yeah, that’s my Astral Horizon story so far. It’s a journey, a process, but it’s all worth it for that sweet, sweet shotgun.

- Second step: Tested it out in PVE. Felt awesome!
- Third step: Took it to PVP. Need to work on mastering the recoil.
- Fourth step: Experimenting with different perk combinations.
- Fifth step: Still on the hunt for the god roll, still grinding, never giving up. It is tough but you know, I gotta keep trying.
It’s a work in progress, but I’m getting there. I can feel it. This gun has the potential to be a game-changer, and I’m determined to unlock it. It’s a long way but I’m sure I will get it done. It’s gonna be great!
