Okay, so let’s talk about this “army football depth chart” thing.
I wanted to make an army football depth chart for the 2024-25 season. It sounded pretty straightforward at first. I started by searching online for information, just casually browsing to see what I could find.
I found some basic stuff about the Army Black Knights’ roster. You know, the usual – player names, positions, a little bit about their heights and birthdates. Nothing too fancy, but it was a start. But I wanted a detailed breakdown, separating offensive and defensive positions.
I gathered all the information I could find and started putting it into a simple spreadsheet. I made two main sections: one for offense and one for defense. Then, under each section, I listed the positions, like quarterback, running back, and so on.
- Offensive Positions
- Defensive Positions
Offensive
For each position, I tried to figure out who the starters would be, and who the backups were. This was a bit tricky. I read through some articles and news about the team, trying to piece together the probable lineup. It’s not an exact science, of course.
Defensive
I did the same thing for the defensive side. It’s all about figuring out who’s likely to be on the field for each position based on what I’d gathered. I kept adding players’ names under their respective positions, building out the depth chart row by row.
After a while, I had a pretty decent-looking depth chart. It’s not perfect, and I’m sure things will change as the season goes on, and I found that there will be a game against Lehigh University. But it’s a good starting point. It gives you a general idea of who’s who on the team. I feel a bit more organized now, and it’s cool to have all this info in one place. So it’s done, at least for now, and I think I learned a few things along the way. Not too bad for a little project, right?
