Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into the WWE world lately, and I stumbled upon this whole Alpha Academy thing. It’s pretty entertaining, so I figured I’d share my experience checking it out.

My Alpha Academy Deep Dive
First, I had to get a feel for what Alpha Academy actually is. I knew it involved Chad Gable and Otis, but that was about it. So, I started by watching some recent WWE shows.
Watched a bunch of Raw and SmackDown episodes. Focused on any segments featuring Alpha Academy. It quickly became clear that it’s basically Chad Gable’s “wrestling school” with Otis as his… well, let’s just say “star pupil.”
- Gable is the super serious, technically skilled coach.
- Otis is the lovable powerhouse who doesn’t always “get it.”
- Maxxine Dupri, add her to the mix later, learning.
- and Akira Tozawa, newest member.
After getting the basic gist, I moved on to digging up some older clips. I wanted to see how this whole thing started.
I Searched on the some older matches and promos featuring Gable and Otis, even before they were officially “Alpha Academy.”
I Saw how their dynamic developed over time. It was interesting to see Gable go from being a singles competitor to taking Otis under his wing.

Now, here’s where it gets really fun. I decided to actually try some of Gable’s “teachings.” No, I didn’t try to suplex anyone (I’m not crazy!), but I did look up some of the drills and exercises he talks about.
- Found some basic wrestling warm-ups and stretches.
- Tried a few simple drills – you know, things like bridging and takedown practice (on a very soft mat, of course!).
I realized that it is pretty tough!
I spent the rest day just watching some classic Alpha Academy moments, like their matches against RK-Bro, and those cringey “shoosh” moments. Good times!
So, that’s been my journey into the Alpha Academy world so far. It’s a fun mix of wrestling, comedy, and even a little bit of actual training (if you’re into that). Give it a watch, and you might just find yourself saying “A-thank-you!”
