Okay, so let me tell you about this whole thing with Paige VanZant and Dillon Danis. I’ve been following this stuff, and it’s getting pretty wild. So, it all started when Paige VanZant, this former UFC strawweight fighter, she’s been trying out different fighting stuff after leaving UFC, right?
She did some bare-knuckle boxing and professional wrestling and then she went on an interview, and out of nowhere, she called out Dillon Danis. She basically said he’s “not a real fighter.” I was like, “Whoa, where did that come from?”
And then, of course, Dillon Danis, who’s always in the middle of some drama, he’s the main topic on Twitter again. People were talking about it, and I got curious. So, I started digging into it.
I watched that interview where VanZant dissed Danis. She was promoting her next fight, a Misfits boxing match against Elle Brooke, and she just threw that comment out there. It seemed a bit random, to be honest. But then I saw some people saying that Danis had been talking trash about her before, so maybe that’s why she said it. I don’t know for sure, though.
Anyway, I did some more digging and found out that VanZant has been doing really well on OnlyFans. Apparently, she’s making a ton of money there, like $40,000 to $60,000 a month! She said in an interview that it’s her main source of income now, and it’s helping her support her family. That’s pretty crazy, right? I mean, good for her, but it’s a big change from fighting in the UFC.
Here’s what I did next:
- I checked out both of their social media accounts. Of course, there was a lot of back-and-forth between their fans. Some people were taking VanZant’s side, saying Danis is all talk and no action. Others were defending Danis, saying VanZant is just trying to stay relevant. It was a mess.
- I read some articles about the whole situation. Some of them were just reporting the facts, but others were adding their own opinions, which made things even more confusing.
- I watched some of their old fights. I wanted to see for myself what they were like in the ring. VanZant was pretty good in the UFC, but she’s had mixed results since then. Danis is a good grappler, but he hasn’t fought in a while, so it’s hard to say how he’d do now.
My Thoughts
Honestly, I don’t know what to think about this whole thing. It seems like a lot of drama for nothing. Maybe they’ll fight each other someday, maybe they won’t. But for now, it’s just a lot of talk. I guess we’ll see what happens next, right?
I’ll keep an eye on it and let you know if anything interesting happens. For now, it’s just another day in the world of combat sports, I guess.
Oh, and by the way I did see Paige comment “My bad.” afterwards, maybe to Dillon Danis, maybe not, who knows.
Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for now. What do you guys think about this whole situation?
