Okay, so last night I was totally free and wanted to kill some time. Then, I decided to check out this grappling event, Fury Pro Grappling 8. I had heard some buzz about it and figured why not?
I found out that this event was streaming on UFC Fight Pass. I already have a subscription, so I jumped right in. It was really easy to find once I logged in.
The main reason I tuned in was this match between Aljamain Sterling and Kevin Dantzler. I’ve followed Aljamain Sterling for a while, he’s a cool dude, and I was curious to see him in a grappling match. I don’t know much about Kevin Dantzler, but it’s always fun to watch a new fighter.
The match was pretty intense! They went at it from the start. Aljamain Sterling was trying to use his strength, and Kevin Dantzler was super quick and agile. They kept switching positions, trying to get the upper hand. It was back and forth, and you could feel the tension.
- First, they clinched up, and Aljamain was trying to get a takedown.
- Kevin was defending well, though, and managed to stay on his feet.
- Then, they went to the ground, and Aljamain was on top, trying to pass Kevin’s guard.
- But Kevin scrambled back up, and they were back to standing.
It was a really good fight, and honestly, I couldn’t tell who was going to win. In the end, it went the distance. The whole thing was a solid display of grappling skills. I was really entertained.
I don’t know much about the specifics, I am not an expert or something. I mean, all those fancy moves and stuff. But it was definitely a fun watch. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! It was a cool way to spend a Friday night, watching some good grappling action.
Overall
It was a pretty cool event. I might check out more of these Fury Pro Grappling things in the future. It’s a nice change of pace from the usual stuff I watch. If you’re into grappling, you should definitely give it a try!
