So, I was really curious about who’s been showing up in those Aflac commercials lately. You know, the ones with the duck? I mean, I see them all the time, but I never really paid attention to the actual people in them.
I started by just watching a few of the commercials again. I noticed right away that Nick Saban, that famous Alabama coach, he’s been in them for a while. Like, I recognized him from somewhere, and it turns out, he’s been hanging out with the Aflac Duck for like six years now! That’s a pretty long time.
Then there’s this other coach, Deion Sanders, they call him “Coach Prime.” He’s from Colorado, and he’s been in these commercials for about four years. So, they’re kind of like the regulars of the Aflac commercials, you know?
- Watched a bunch of Aflac commercials online. Just kind of binged them to see who else pops up.
- Took notes on who I recognized. Like, I knew I’d seen Saban and Sanders before, but I wasn’t sure where.
- Did some quick searches on my phone to figure out how long they’ve been doing these commercials.

It was kind of fun, actually. I never thought I’d be so interested in insurance commercials, but there you go. They do this NIL deals thing in the ads, which is kind of funny. It’s like, the duck is offering them deals, but not the kind you’d expect. It’s all very silly.
They also have this whole series called “Aflac Duck vs. Gap Goat”. And guess what I did? Yep, I watched those too! I felt I should share these things with you guys, to make you guys know about it. It turns out there’s more to these commercials than just the duck, haha.
Honestly, it was just a bit of random curiosity that turned into a little deep dive into the world of Aflac commercials. Who knew, right?
