Okay, so I’ve been grinding away at “College Football 25,” and let me tell you, getting that platinum trophy is no joke. I figured I’d share my journey, the ups and downs, and how I finally managed to snag all those trophies.
First off, I started with the basics. Just playing through the game, getting a feel for the mechanics, and enjoying the story. I wasn’t even thinking about trophies at this point, just trying to win some games and have a good time.
Dynasty Mode
Then, I dove into Dynasty mode. This is where the real work began. I picked a team, started recruiting, and tried to build a powerhouse. It was tough, but I learned a lot about team management and strategy. There are a few trophies tied to Dynasty mode, like winning a national championship and getting a player to win the Heisman. These took some time, and I had to restart a couple of times, but I eventually got them.
- Win a national championship: This one was a grind, but so satisfying when I finally did it. I had to carefully manage my team, make smart recruiting decisions, and play my heart out in every game.
- Get a player to win the Heisman: This one was a bit tricky. I had to focus on one player and make sure he had a stellar season. It took a few tries, but I finally got it.
Road to Glory Mode
Next up was Road to Glory. This mode is all about creating a player and guiding him through his college career. It was a fun change of pace from Dynasty mode, and I enjoyed the more personal story. There are a bunch of trophies tied to Road to Glory, like winning the Heisman, getting drafted in the first round, and setting various records. These were pretty straightforward, but they did require some dedication.
- Win the Heisman: Similar to getting a player to win it in Dynasty, just with my created player.
- Get drafted in the first round: Just had to make sure my player performed well enough to get noticed by the pros.
- Set various records: This involved breaking different records throughout my player’s career.
Online Trophies
Then came the online trophies. I’m not the biggest fan of online multiplayer, but I knew I had to do it for the platinum. I jumped into some online games and started grinding away. There were trophies for winning a certain number of games, joining a dynasty, and various other things. It was a bit frustrating at times, especially when I got matched up against much better players, but I eventually managed to get all the online trophies.
Cleanup
Finally, I went back and cleaned up any remaining trophies I had missed. This involved replaying certain parts of the game and focusing on specific tasks. It wasn’t too bad, just a bit time-consuming.
After many, many hours of playing, I finally earned that platinum trophy. It was a long and sometimes frustrating journey, but it was also incredibly rewarding. I felt a real sense of accomplishment, and I’m proud to have my name on that platinum list.
So yeah, that’s my story. If you’re thinking about going for the platinum in “College Football 25,” be prepared for a challenge, but also be prepared for a lot of fun. It’s a great game, and earning that platinum trophy is a great way to experience everything it has to offer. Just remember to take breaks, stay hydrated, and don’t give up!
