So I was bored yesterday and I decided to mess around with this “lilla frederick” thing. First off, I went to the Discover website, it’s like a bank, you know? They have online banking, credit cards that give you rewards, and even home loans. I was mostly interested in the credit cards because they offer 5% cash back at different places each quarter, sounds pretty good, right?
Anyways, I created an account and logged in. It felt pretty secure. You can do a lot of things there, like make payments and check your balance. They also have information on how to protect yourself from identity theft, which is important these days.
After that, I got a bit distracted and started looking for games to download. I found this torrent for Assassin’s Creed Unity. It was from R.G. Mechanics, a group that repacks games. I didn’t download it, just browsed around. There was also a website with patches and mods for Grand Theft Auto V. It’s crazy how many things you can find online.
The Dinner
Later in the evening, I was searching for a place to eat and stumbled upon this Italian restaurant called DOPO in Calgary. Their menu is inspired by the owner’s mom’s recipes. I didn’t actually go there, but it sounded really delicious. I love Italian food, especially when it’s made with simple ingredients and has that home-cooked vibe.
Here’s a breakdown of what I did:
- Browsed the Discover website for credit cards and online banking.
- Looked at the 5% cash back offer.
- Logged into the Discover website and checked out the security features.
- Searched for Assassin’s Creed Unity torrent.
- Found patches and mods for Grand Theft Auto V.
- Discovered DOPO, an Italian restaurant in Calgary, and checked out their menu.
That’s pretty much it. It was a random day of exploring different things online, from banking to games to food. I didn’t really achieve anything specific, but it was fun to just wander around the internet and see what I could find.
