Okay, so I’ve been digging into some golf stuff lately, and I gotta tell you about this Jordan Spieth thing. He’s a big shot in golf, you know, a three-time Major winner. Anyways, I was going through some news and it turns out the dude had wrist surgery back in August.
So first I started to follow the news about this guy, and then, I noticed he was gonna make a comeback, and not just any comeback, but at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. I was like, “Whoa, that’s soon!” I’ve always thought Pebble Beach was a cool course. I mean, those ocean views? Amazing.
Then I saw that he was practicing, playing golf for a whole month without any pain. That’s gotta be a good sign, right? I figured, if he’s hitting balls pain-free, he’s probably feeling pretty good about his chances. I kept reading and found out he wasn’t able to play in the Wyndham Championship. That’s a bummer, especially when you see him all energetic and stuff during the Texas Longhorns-Georgia Bulldogs game.
I kept digging and I saw some folks saying he was getting ready for the ATT Pebble Beach Pro-Am. It’s all really got me thinking about how tough these athletes are. Imagine having surgery and then coming back to compete at that level. It’s pretty mind-blowing. I was imagining myself in that situation. I’d probably still be icing my wrist and watching reruns.
Here’s what I’ve gathered so far:
- Jordan Spieth had wrist surgery.
- He’s been practicing without pain.
- He missed the Wyndham Championship.
- He’s planning to play at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
So, yeah, that’s the latest on Jordan Spieth. It seems like a decent comeback story. I’ll definitely keep an eye out to see how he does at Pebble Beach. Maybe I’ll even try to catch it on TV. I’m not sure, but wouldn’t it be cool to see him win it all after that surgery?
Anyways, that’s all I’ve got for now.
Hope you guys find this stuff as interesting as I do!
