Alright, folks, let’s dive into my latest adventure in Destiny 2. I’ve been grinding hard to get that Rufus’s Fury auto rifle, and let me tell you, the journey has been a wild ride. This thing is a beast in PvE, and I’m here to share my experience crafting the god roll.
Starting the Grind
So, first things first, I had to get my hands on the weapon pattern. This meant running the Root of Nightmares raid, hoping for those red border drops. It took a few runs, but I finally got all the patterns I needed. RNG was kind, for once!
Leveling Up
Once I had the patterns, it was time to level up the weapon. I parked myself in Shuro Chi, that sweet spot for farming kills. It’s a bit of a grind, but blasting through waves of Taken Thralls is pretty satisfying. Plus, it’s the fastest way to unlock those perks.
Choosing the Perks
Now, here’s where things get interesting. Rufus’s Fury has a ton of good perks, and it was tough to decide which ones to go for. I saw some folks talking about Rewind Rounds and Frenzy, but I wanted to experiment a bit.
After reading through some comments and ideas, and some trial and error, I finally settled on a combination that I think is pretty killer.
My God Roll
- Barrel: I went with Smallbore. It gives a nice boost to both range and stability, making the gun feel a lot more consistent.
- Magazine: Extended Mag seemed like the best choice here. More bullets in the mag means more time shooting and less time reloading, especially with the perks I chose.
- Perk 1: This is where it gets spicy. I decided to go with Rewind Rounds. When the magazine is empty, this perk refills it based on the number of hits. In PvE, you’re almost always hitting something, so it’s basically a free reload.
- Perk 2: For the second perk, I went with Target Lock. It increases weapon damage the longer it remains on a target.
Putting It to the Test
With my god roll crafted, I took it out for a spin in some high-level content. And boy, does it shred! The combination of Rewind Rounds and Target Lock is just insane. I was melting through yellow bars and bosses like butter. The gun just doesn’t stop shooting, and the damage keeps ramping up.
Final Thoughts
Crafting this Rufus’s Fury god roll was a bit of a journey, but it was totally worth it. This thing is an absolute monster in PvE, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite weapons. If you’re looking for a powerful auto rifle to add to your arsenal, I highly recommend giving this one a try. Just be prepared for a bit of a grind to get those patterns and level it up!
So there you have it, my experience crafting the Rufus’s Fury god roll. It’s a beast of a weapon, and I’m having a blast using it. If you’ve got your own favorite rolls or any questions, feel free to share them – I’m always up for a good Destiny 2 chat!
