Okay, so I needed to get a handle on the seating situation at Davis Wade Stadium. You know, figure out where’s good, where’s not so good, all that stuff.
First, I went hunting for a seating map. Found a few different ones, some more detailed than others. I wanted one that had the seat numbers and rows and everything. You know, the works. I managed to find a really detailed one finally.
Then I started looking at what people were saying about different sections. Turns out, if you’re on the visitor side, the sun’s gonna be in your face the whole time. Good to know! I also saw that sections 1, 2, and 6 on the west side are pretty decent for getting a good view of the field. Makes sense, they’re on the sidelines.
I learned that the seats towards the top of the stadium are the best. That’s interesting.
One thing I noticed is that seats near the 50-yard line are usually the first to go. Everyone wants those, apparently. They’re usually snatched up by season ticket holders or folks in the fancy boxes. They’re considered the “best” seats, I guess.
I compared seat scores, read a bunch of comments about the views from different spots, and even looked at ticket prices. You can really see how much more expensive it is to sit closer to the field. No surprise there.
- Sun: Consider the sun’s position. The visitor side gets a lot of sun.
- Sections: West sections 1, 2, and 6 have decent views.
- 50-yard line: These seats are prime real estate.
- Price: Tickets closer to the field are much more expensive.
In the end, I think I have a pretty good understanding of the seating situation at Davis Wade. I know where I’d want to sit, and where I definitely wouldn’t!
