Okay, here’s my story about figuring out the weapon tier list for Solo Leveling: Arise.
So, I’ve been grinding away at Solo Leveling: Arise, and let me tell you, figuring out which weapons are worth your time is a real chore. I started like everyone else, just equipping whatever had the biggest numbers and hoping for the best. That worked for a while, but then I hit a wall. I was getting my butt kicked, and my progress just stalled. That’s when I decided I needed to get serious about this whole weapon tier list thing.
First, I scoured the internet, looking for any info I could find. There are a few lists out there, but honestly, a lot of them just seemed like someone’s random opinion. No real data to back it up. Still, I started noticing some patterns. Certain weapons kept popping up in the “top tier” lists, like that Moonshadow one. Apparently, it’s a Dark-type SSR, and everyone was saying it’s ridiculously overpowered. I didn’t have it yet, but it definitely went on my wish list.
Then I dove into the game’s stats. I started comparing base damage, skill effects, and all that jazz. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I slowly started to see why some weapons were better than others. For example, I found that the Steel Bow was getting a lot of praise. It’s a Hunter Weapon, and the big deal with it is that it boosts your Critical Hit damage. At first, I was like, “9%? That’s it?” But then I saw that if you manage to get it to A5, it cranks that boost up to 24%! Now that’s a serious upgrade.
I also started experimenting with different weapon combinations. See, I had this idea that maybe it wasn’t just about the individual weapon, but how they worked together. I spent hours trying out different pairings, swapping weapons in and out, and paying attention to how they affected my damage output and overall performance. It was tedious, but it was also kind of fun, like solving a puzzle. I don’t have any magic bullet answers, and everything depends on which weapons you were lucky enough to pull, but I did find a few combos that really seemed to click. For instance, if you have a decent weapon that causes a lot of debuffs, pairing that with a high-damage output weapon can be killer.
My Two Cents
After all that work, here’s what I’ve come up with:
- Dark SSR weapons are generally awesome. If you get one, consider yourself lucky. Moonshadow is a beast, if you’re after it like I am.
- Don’t underestimate Hunter Weapons, especially the Steel Bow. That Critical Hit damage boost is no joke, especially at higher upgrade levels.
- Experiment! Don’t be afraid to try out different weapon combos. You might be surprised at what works.
This is just my experience, and I’m still learning. But hopefully, this gives you a good starting point for figuring out your own weapon strategy in Solo Leveling: Arise. Good luck, and happy hunting!
