Okay, so I decided to give “Is This Hunter for Real?” a try, specifically chapter one. I heard some buzz about it online, so I thought, “Why not?”
First, I opened up my favorite browser, then I typed in a few keywords, like “Is This Hunter For Real chapter 1,” into the search bar. There are some search results popping up, I just picked one that looked okay and opened it.
I started reading, and the first thing I noticed was this line, “God is always watching you.” Followed by, “There is no such thing as God in this world.” Hmm, interesting contrast. Made me think, you know? Is this story going to be about some kind of divine power, or is it going to totally reject that idea?
The story introduced this world where monster attacks happen all the time. Pretty standard stuff for this kind of genre. But then it mentioned that humanity is protected by these “hunters” who have superpowers and even stream their fights online. Okay, that’s a bit different. It’s like a mix of superhero action and reality TV, kinda.
I kept reading, and there was some mention of the author’s other works like “FFF-Class Trash Hero” and “Is This Hero For Real?” Made a mental note to check those out later.
- Started reading “Is This Hunter for Real?” chapter one.
- Found the opening lines about God intriguing.
- Learned about the world with monster attacks and superpowered hunters.
- Noticed the author has other works I might be interested in.
I also noticed some comments online about how the story had been on a break for over three months. I guess people are really into it if they’re tracking its hiatus.
The main character seems to be this guy named Gangshik Choi. Or at least, I think that’s the main character. It’s only chapter one, so I’m still figuring things out.
There are some mentions of classmates but nothing much of detail. I guess it will be explained in the following chapters.
Honestly, after finishing the first chapter, I’m not totally hooked, but I’m curious enough to see where it goes. The whole hunter streaming thing is kinda unique, and the opening lines about God definitely got me thinking.
My First Impression
So yeah, that’s my experience with reading the first chapter of “Is This Hunter for Real?” It’s a bit of a mixed bag, but I’m willing to give it a chance. Maybe it’ll turn out to be something really cool.
