Hey guys, it’s your boy back with another post. Today, I wanna talk about something a little different – golf. Yeah, you heard that right. Specifically, we’re diving into what’s in the bag of Tommy Fleetwood, the English pro golfer.
So, I got curious about this guy, Tommy Fleetwood. I mean, I’ve seen him around, playing on the PGA Tour and all. Dude’s got seven wins on the European Tour and has even played for the European side. Pretty impressive, right? I started digging around, trying to figure out what gear this guy uses.
First thing I did was check out his clubs. A complete set of golf clubs usually has around 12 pieces, you know? One driver, a couple of fairway woods, six irons, two wedges, and a putter. But get this – the USGA lets you carry up to 14 clubs. Pros like Tommy probably max that out, ’cause why not, right? You never know when you might need that extra club, especially in a tournament.
Then I moved on to his golf balls. Turns out, Tommy’s a big fan of the TaylorMade TP5x Pix golf balls. He’s been using them for years, so they must be pretty good. I haven’t tried them myself, but I’m thinking about giving them a shot. I mean, if they work for Tommy, maybe they’ll work for me too, haha.
Next, I started looking at his accessories. I saw some stuff about Tommy Hilfiger crossbody bags. Now, I’m not really a bag guy, but I guess it’s important to have somewhere to stash your stuff on the course. Maybe I’ll look into that too. Who knows, maybe a fancy bag will improve my game? Just kidding… unless?
My Experiment
- Gathering the Gear: I managed to borrow a set of clubs similar to what Tommy uses. It wasn’t easy, but hey, anything for science, right? I also ordered a pack of those TaylorMade TP5x Pix golf balls. They weren’t cheap, but I figured it was worth the investment.
- Hitting the Range: I took my borrowed gear to the local driving range. I’m no pro, but I wanted to see if I could feel any difference using Tommy’s setup. Let me tell you, those balls do fly differently. I don’t know if it’s the Pix design or what, but they seemed to go straighter and further.
- Playing a Round: I even played a full round with the borrowed clubs and those fancy balls. I can’t say my score improved dramatically, but I did feel more confident with the clubs. It’s probably all in my head, but hey, whatever works, right?
So, there you have it. My little experiment with Tommy Fleetwood’s golf gear. It was fun to try out some pro-level stuff and see what the hype is all about. I don’t know if I’ll ever be as good as Tommy, but at least I can say I tried his gear, haha. Until next time, peace out!
