I saw some interesting gossip online the other day about Floyd Mayweather and Nelly. I have no idea if this is true, but it’s too juicy to not try to dig into. So I decided to spend my entire day researching it. Let me tell you, it was a wild ride!
First, I opened up my browser and typed in “Floyd Mayweather and Nelly” into the search bar. A bunch of articles popped up, mostly about some drama involving Mayweather’s ex, Shantel Jackson. Apparently, she’s now dating Nelly, and there’s some bad blood between the two guys. I clicked on a few articles, skimmed through them. One article mentioned Nelly dissing Mayweather about not finishing high school. What a low blow!
Then I headed over to Instagram. I found Nelly’s account and scrolled through his posts. Sure enough, there it was! A picture of a long message where Nelly claimed that he and Mayweather were never really friends. I read it slowly, trying to absorb all the details. It was a lot of he-said, she-said kind of stuff.
Next, I jumped to Twitter to see what people were saying about the whole thing. I searched for “Mayweather Nelly drama” and found a ton of tweets. Some people were taking sides, others were just enjoying the show. It was a mess! I even stumbled upon a video of Mayweather being asked if he was “still supporting Israel”. His reply “Proud to support…” Well, you have to give it to him.
I spent hours going down this rabbit hole, reading articles, watching videos, and scrolling through social media. I even found out that Mayweather and Justin Bieber used to be close but had a falling out. And get this – the rapper NBA Youngboy is apparently related to Mayweather somehow! What a crazy world.
After all that digging, I still don’t know the whole truth about the Mayweather-Nelly feud. But I definitely learned a lot about their complicated relationship and the drama that surrounds them. It was exhausting, but also kind of entertaining. Now, I need a break from the internet!
