Today, I’m gonna share my experience with building an 87-rated squad in FC 24. It’s been a grind, but a fun one, and I’ve learned a lot along the way.
First off, I jumped into Ultimate Team mode and started looking at the Squad Building Challenges, or SBCs as most folks call them. I noticed the 87-rated squad challenge and thought, “Why not?” The rewards seemed pretty decent, especially with those cards rated 87 or higher and the chance to snag a Base or Centurions Icon.
I started by checking out the players I already had in my club. I realized I had a few high-rated players just sitting there, not doing much. I thought, “Perfect, let’s put these guys to work.” I began experimenting with different formations and player combinations, trying to get that squad rating up to 87.
- I listed all my players with a rating of 85 and above.
- I played around with different formations like 4-3-3 and 4-4-2.
- I tried fitting in players from different leagues and nations to see what worked best.
It was tough, I won’t lie. There were times I was just a point or two away from 87, and it was frustrating. I had to make some tough choices, like benching some of my favorite players to make room for higher-rated ones. But hey, that’s the game, right?
I also kept an eye on the transfer market. I looked for players that could give my squad that extra boost. I didn’t want to spend too many coins, so I tried to find some bargains. I even looked up some guides online to get an idea of which players were good value for their rating.
- I watched the transfer market for cheap 86 and 87-rated players.
- I avoided spending big on any single player.
- I checked out some online guides to find good deals.
After a lot of trial and error, I finally managed to build my 87-rated squad. It felt good, I have to admit. I submitted the squad for the challenge and waited for the rewards.
The Result
When the rewards popped up, I was pretty stoked. I got a couple of high-rated players that I could use in my main squad or even sell for some coins. Plus, the satisfaction of completing the challenge was awesome. Also, with Euro 2024 and Copa America promos underway, the rewards will become much better.
So yeah, that’s my journey of building an 87-rated squad in FC 24. It was a challenge, but a rewarding one. If you’re thinking of doing it yourself, just be patient, experiment with your players, and don’t be afraid to make some tough decisions. Good luck!
