Okay, so I’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while now, and I finally decided to take the plunge. I’ve always been drawn to words and quotes, you know, stuff that really speaks to you. So, I thought, why not get a tattoo that’s just words? And since it’s going to be pretty big, I figured the chest would be the perfect spot.
First, I spent hours, and I mean hours, online looking for inspiration. I checked out a bunch of pictures, trying to find the right words. It’s harder than it looks! You want something meaningful, but also something that looks cool, right? And the placement of the words is super important. I mean, you don’t want it to look all jumbled up.
I found some interesting ideas online. Some people go for simple designs, like just a name or a date, but I wanted something a bit more, you know, out there. Some people used the words to make shapes. I saw some tattoos that used fancy fonts, and some that were just plain and simple. I liked the ones that were kind of playful with the words, making them curve around and stuff.
After looking at all those pictures, I started to think about what words I wanted. I thought about the things that are important to me, like my family and my beliefs. I also thought about quotes that have always stuck with me. I wrote down a bunch of ideas, just brainstorming, you know?
Then came the hard part: actually choosing the words. It took me a while, but I finally settled on a phrase that really means a lot to me. It’s a little long, but I think it’ll look awesome spread across my chest. I made some sketches and wrote the words in different ways to see how it would look.
Next, I had to find a tattoo artist. I asked around and looked at a bunch of shops. I wanted someone who was good at lettering, obviously. And someone who I felt comfortable with, someone who got my vision. It took me a bit to find someone whose work I liked. After that, I made an appointment. And I finally got it done!
- Spent a lot of time researching designs and words.
- Thought long and hard about what I wanted the tattoo to say.
- Searched for a good tattoo artist who specialized in lettering.
- Worked with the artist to create a design that I loved.
The whole process was kind of a pain, but totally worth it. My chest tattoo looks amazing. Here are some of the things I did:
It’s a permanent reminder of something that’s really important to me, and it looks freaking awesome. Now I’m hooked and thinking about my next one! But I am really happy with how my written chest tattoo turned out!
