Today, I bumped into something called “brent mccarty stephanie white” and got really curious. So, I started digging around to see what I could find.
First, I went to Zillow, you know, that website where you can look at houses. I found a place at 2521 Ransdell Ave in Louisville. It’s a pretty big house, with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It was listed for $750,000, and there were like 48 photos of it. Looks really nice, but I was more interested in the names.
Then, I did a little more digging and found another house, this one at 2521 Martin Ave, also in Louisville. It’s smaller, with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. This one sold for $199,900 back in September. It seemed like a decent place, but nothing that connected directly to those names I was researching.
I broadened my search a bit and looked at Harlan, KY. Zillow showed 7 houses for sale there, and then I checked out Harlan County, KY, which had 30 homes listed. I looked at all the photos and sales history, but still no sign of Brent or Stephanie. It was a dead end.
I changed my approach
I thought maybe I should try something different. I had this idea to convert a wheat reference sequence (it was in a fasta file) to a .2bit file. I used these tools called biostrings and rtracklayer for that. I have to say, it was a bit out of my wheelhouse, but I was determined to try every angle.
Then I shifted gears completely. I headed over to Kohl’s website and searched for “Make It Real.” They had a bunch of stuff, and I browsed around, enjoying the free shipping and easy returns. I was just killing time at this point, hoping something would click.
I stumbled upon some flashcards on Quizlet, talking about binary format and CodePlex. It didn’t really ring any bells, but I made a mental note of it anyway. Just in case.
Finally, I searched for how to create a twoBit file. I found some instructions, but honestly, it was all getting a bit too technical for me. I started to feel like I was going in circles.
- Started with a Zillow search.
- Found a house on Ransdell Ave.
- Checked another house on Martin Ave.
- Expanded to Harlan and Harlan County.
- Tried converting a file format.
- Browsed Kohl’s and Quizlet.
- Looked up how to create a twoBit file.
After all that, I still don’t really know what “brent mccarty stephanie white” is all about. It was a long and winding road, but I guess that’s just how it goes sometimes. You win some, you lose some. I remain intrigued, though, and will probably keep poking around when I have time. Who knows, maybe I’ll stumble upon something eventually.
