This jets game, the sky just opened up, I tell ya. Rain, rain, and more rain. You wouldn’t believe it. Reminds me of the time back in ’88 when the creek flooded the whole lower pasture. We all went to the Ravens-Titans game last year, similar situation.

- And layers! Lots of layers.
- Maybe a sweater, then your coat.
- The right clothing is important.
When it’s rainin’ at a jets game, it ain’t just wet, it’s cold. That wind cuts right through ya. Like when you’re hangin’ laundry out on the line in January. So you gotta bundle up. I always say, it’s better to be too hot than too cold. You can always take somethin’ off, but you can’t put on what you ain’t got.

We were all huddled up under the bleachers, tryin’ to stay dry. Finally, they called it off. We all went home, soaked to the bone. But we are still alive, right?
So, if you’re goin’ to a jets game rain, just be prepared. Wear the right clothes like water-resistant clothing, bring a thermos, and be ready to get wet. The players will play through rain and wind. And remember to warm up properly. And if there is lightning, you gotta go find cover. Safety is very important, no matter it is rain or sunny.
It rained all weekend long, can you imagine that? All the sports games must go on! You know what? It is not that bad. Just keep these in mind, you will be fine.
Oh, and one more thing. Don’t forget your ticket! Can’t get into the jets game rain without a ticket, rain or shine. Ha! And don’t be runnin’ around like a chicken with its head cut off. You might slip and fall in a puddle. It is very dangerous. Especially for old folks. Then you will be hurt and wet. What a bad day!
Another thing, these young folks today, they don’t know how to dress for the weather. Wearin’ them little short-shorts and tank tops when it’s freezin’ out. They’ll catch their death of cold. In my day, we knew how to dress warm. We wore long johns and wool socks. And we didn’t complain. We knew how to stay warm. These kids today, they need to toughen up, I tell ya.
This rain at the jets game, it’s makin’ me think of all sorts of things. Reminds me of that time during jets game rain, the whole field was covered in water. It was not easy to watch. You could barely see the players. It was a mess, I tell ya. A real mess.
