Alright, let’s talk about this wrestlin’ stuff, the WWE, you know? Folks always yellin’ and jumpin’ around. I seen some of it on that there TV thingy. My grandkid, he likes it, so I watch sometimes.
Now, they got these champions, fellas and gals all muscled up. Big ol’ Roman Reigns, he’s the champ right now, I hear. He’s a tough one, always grinnin’ and stompin’ around. But, you know, these things change. Ain’t nobody stay on top forever. My old rooster, he thought he was king of the coop, ’til that young one came along and pecked him right off his perch. Same thing with these wrestlin’ folks, I reckon.
So, who’s gonna be the next champ? That’s what folks are always yappin’ about. This Cody Rhodes fella, he’s been makin’ a ruckus. People like him, cheer real loud. Maybe he’ll take that belt from Roman. Wouldn’t surprise me none. He’s got that fire in his belly, like my prize-winning pig at the county fair, always lookin’ for a fight, haha.
- WWE Championship: Heard some folks sayin’ Gable Steveson might be somethin’ special. Don’t know nothin’ about him, but if them suit-wearing fellas at the WWE like him, maybe he’s got a chance. Wrestlin’ is a funny business, you never really know.
- Women’s Championship: That Raquel Rodriguez, she’s a big strong gal. Reminds me of Bessie, my old milk cow, strong and steady. She’s been workin’ hard, I hear. Maybe she’ll get her shot at the top. Women can wrestle just as good as the men, these days.
They got all sorts of belts and titles, more than I can keep track of. That Intercontinental one, they say it’s been around a long time. Like my old cast iron skillet, been in the family for ages. Lots of folks have held that one, I bet. Lots of sweat and tears spilled over it.
This wrestlin’ thing, it’s changed a lot over the years. Used to be just big ol’ country boys grapplin’ in the dirt. Now they got fancy costumes and all that razzle-dazzle. But it’s still about who’s the toughest, who wants it more. That’s somethin’ I understand.
And they got all these new wrestlers comin’ in, from all over. Heard they used to scoop up folks from the smaller shows, the “independents” they call ’em. Like Seth Rollins and Finn Balor. They made it big, won championships. Shows you, hard work pays off, even if you start small.
So, predictin’ the future? That’s a fool’s game, my husband used to say. But it’s fun to guess. Roman Reigns might hold on to that title for a while, he’s tough. But Cody Rhodes is comin’ on strong. And that Raquel Rodriguez, she’s got somethin’ to prove. And who knows, maybe some young whippersnapper will come along and surprise us all. That’s the beauty of it, I guess. Keeps things interesting.
Just like plantin’ seeds in the spring, you never know for sure what’s gonna grow. But you water ’em, and you tend to ’em, and you hope for the best. That’s what these wrestlers do, I reckon. Trainin’ and fightin’, hopin’ to be the best. And us folks, we watch, and we cheer, and we argue about who’s gonna win. It’s all part of the show, ain’t it?
Gunther and Ethan Page, those are names I’ve heard too. They say they’re champions too. So many champions, hard to keep track of them all. Like tryin’ to count chickens in a coop, they’re always movin’ around.
At the end of the day, it’s all about entertainment. They put on a good show, these wrestlers. Makes folks happy, makes ’em yell and holler. And that’s worth somethin’, I guess. Just like a good pie at the county fair, it brings folks together.
So, we’ll see what happens. These wrestlers will keep fightin’, and we’ll keep watchin’. And who knows, maybe next year, there’ll be a whole new batch of champions. That’s the way it goes, nothin’ stays the same forever. Just like the seasons, always changin’.
