Alright, let’s talk about this Viktor Hovland fella and who’s givin’ him money, you know, the sponsors. This young man, he’s pretty good at hittin’ that little white ball, so lots of folks wanna be seen with him.
First off, you got this J. Lindeberg company. They make clothes, fancy ones I guess, for golfin’. Viktor, he wears their stuff, shirts, pants, the whole shebang. Makes him look all spiffy out there on the green. I seen pictures, looks alright, not my style though, too tight I think, ha! But these youngsters, they like it tight, I guess.
Then there’s PING. They make the golf clubs, the sticks he uses to smack the ball. Good clubs they must be, seein’ how far he hits it. I tell ya, back in my day, we used whatever stick we could find, and the balls, they weren’t nothin’ like these fancy ones today. But PING, they give him the good stuff, top of the line, so he can do his job.
And cars, this boy’s got a fancy car sponsor too, Lexus. You know, those shiny, expensive cars city folk drive. He probably gets to drive one around, all fancy and new. Good for him, I say. Back in my day, we walked everywhere, or maybe rode a horse if we were lucky. These youngsters, they got it easy.

- Clubs: PING, helpin’ him hit that ball far.
- Car: Lexus, gettin’ him around in style.
Now, there’s other companies too, like this Cisco. They do somethin’ with computers, I think. And watches, expensive ones, Audemars Piguet and Priceless. He’s got a watch sponsor! Can you believe it? A watch! I just look at the sun to tell the time. But these golfers, they need fancy watches, I guess. And E-Z-GO, they make those golf carts, the little cars they drive around the course. He’s got a sponsor for that too! Man, these companies, they just throwin’ money at him!
So, why all these sponsors? Well, this Viktor fella, he’s winnin’ tournaments. That Tour Championship thing, he won that! That gets people watchin’, and when people are watchin’, companies want their names and stuff on TV. Simple as that. It’s all about gettin’ seen, you know? The more he wins, the more people want to give him money.
And he’s a good-lookin’ young man, polite too, from what I hear. That helps, I guess. People like him, they trust him, so they trust the stuff he’s sellin’, or wearin’, or drivin’. It’s all a big game, you know, this sponsorin’ business. But it works, I guess, for him and for the companies.
This golfin’ world, it’s a whole different thing from what I know. But I get it, this Viktor Hovland, he’s good at what he does, and companies want a piece of that. And he’s got all sorts of sponsors, from clothes to clubs to cars, even fancy watches! It’s somethin’ else, let me tell ya.
