Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about this here football match, Miami versus that Virginia Tech bunch. Don’t know much about fancy football, but I know a win when I see one, and I reckon Miami’s gonna take it.
Now, they tellin’ me Miami’s a big favorite, like 17.5 points or somethin’. That’s a whole lotta points, I tell ya. Means them Miami boys gotta be pretty darn good. Heard they got them sacks, four a game they say. Sacks? Sounds rough! Guess that means they knockin’ them Virginia fellas down real good.
Them Virginia Tech fellas, they sound kinda leaky. Leaky what? Leaky protection, I guess. Means them Miami boys gonna be runnin’ all over ’em, gettin’ to that quarterback fella. Can’t throw no football when you’re lyin’ on your back, can ya?

Folks are bettin’ on this game, I hear. They sayin’ bet on Miami, bet on a lot of points bein’ scored. Over 54 points they say. That’s a lotta points, more than I can count on my fingers and toes. Guess that means lots of runnin’ and throwin’. And they talkin’ about some fella named Damien, bettin’ he’ll score a touchdown. Touchdown? That’s when they run into that end thingy, right?
This game’s gonna be on TV, on somethin’ called ESPN3. Don’t have that fancy cable myself, but maybe my neighbor will let me watch. It’s gonna be played in Blacksburg, Virginia. That’s a long ways from here, I reckon.
Now, these smart fellas over at Fox Sports, they think Miami’s gonna win too. They say Miami’s got a 91.7% chance of winnin’. That’s pretty darn good odds, even I can understand that. They think the score will be somethin’ like 32 to 25. Still a lotta points, see? Miami’s covered the spread three times this season, whatever that means. Sounds fancy, but I just care about who wins.
Miami and Virginia Tech, they played before, y’know. Miami’s won most of them games, they say. So they got the history on their side, too. That’s important, history. Helps you know what’s likely to happen. And from what I hear, Miami’s gonna win this one. They’re just better, plain and simple.
So, if you ask me, and nobody ever does, but I’m tellin’ ya anyway, Miami’s gonna win this here football game. They got the better team, they got the sacks, and they got the history. And them Virginia Tech fellas, well, they just sound kinda leaky. Now, who wants some sweet tea?
Anyways, that’s what I think about it. Ain’t no expert but I know what’s what when I see it.
