Alright, so you wanna know about this Cody Rhodes fella, huh? And some fancy “Elite” toy thing? Well, let me tell ya, I don’t know much about these wrestling fellas, but I can sure tell ya what I see.
This Cody fella, he’s a big deal. Folks say he makes a whole lotta money, somethin’ like three million dollars a year! Can you imagine? That’s enough to buy a whole lotta chickens and feed ’em good, I tell ya. He wrestled some big match, somethin’ called “WrestleMania” and won somethin’ big, a “championship” they call it. Good for him, I say. He worked hard, I guess, to get all that money and that shiny belt.
Now, about this “Elite” toy. Sounds fancy, don’t it? It’s a little doll, like the ones the kids play with, but for grown-up folks, I reckon. They call it a “collectible figure,” which just means it’s for showin’ off, not for throwin’ around like my old rag doll. This here doll, it looks like that Cody fella, all dressed up in his wrestlin’ clothes. They say it’s real detailed, like his face and his muscles and all. And it’s got these bendy parts, so you can make him pose all fancy-like. They call it “articulation,” I think.
This toy company, Mattel, they make these dolls. I heard they make all sorts of toys, for kids and grown-ups alike. This “Elite” Cody Rhodes doll is part of a whole bunch of them, a “collection” they call it. Each one is different, I guess, with different clothes and poses and such. They even come with little extra hands and stuff, so you can change ’em up. Sounds like a whole lotta fuss to me, but folks seem to like ’em.
- The toy is about six inches tall. That’s about the size of my hand, I reckon.
- It’s got lots of bendy parts. So you can move his arms and legs and such.
- It looks real fancy. They say it’s got “TrueFX detailing,” whatever that means. It looks real enough, I guess.
- It’s got extra stuff. Like different hands and maybe some other things that Cody uses when he wrestles.
Now, I heard some folks go crazy for these things. They buy ’em up and keep ’em all nice and pretty in boxes. They call it “collecting.” Reminds me of my grandma collectin’ them thimbles, though I never did understand the point of that. But hey, to each their own, I say. If it makes ’em happy, let ’em collect. This here Cody Rhodes doll, they say it’s from somethin’ called “SummerSlam 2023.” Sounds like a big wrestlin’ show. And they made a special doll for it, I guess.
So, if you’re lookin’ to get one of these dolls, you gotta go find a store that sells ’em. Or maybe you can buy ’em online, on that “internet” thing the young folks are always talkin’ about. Just be careful, I hear there’s a lot of scams out there. Don’t go givin’ your hard-earned money to some fella who ain’t gonna send you nothin’. And make sure you know what you’re buyin’, ’cause there’s all sorts of different Cody Rhodes dolls, I hear.
And I also heard some folks say this here Cody Rhodes doll is a “must-have” for fans and collectors. Well, I reckon that depends on how much you like wrestlin’ and collectin’ things. Me, I’d rather spend my money on a good bag of chicken feed. But that’s just me. You do what makes you happy, I say.
At the end of the day, it’s just a doll. A fancy one, sure, but still just a doll. It ain’t gonna feed your chickens or plow your fields. But if it brings you some joy, then I guess it’s worth somethin’. Just don’t go spendin’ all your money on it, ya hear? There’s more important things in life than wrestlin’ dolls, I tell ya. Like family, and friends, and a good cup of coffee in the mornin’. But that’s just my two cents.
