Well, let me tell ya, wrestling ain’t what it used to be. Back in my day, them wrestlers, they stayed put. Now, they come and go like the wind. This 2024, oh boy, lots of changes, wrestlers gettin’ the boot or just plain leavin’. It’s a whole mess, I tell ya.
WWE, yeah, that’s the big one. They got all these fancy wrestlers, but sometimes they just let ’em go. Don’t know why, maybe they ain’t good enough no more, maybe they want too much money, who knows? This year, they let go a bunch, and some of ’em, well, they were pretty famous, I reckon.
First off, there’s this fella, Baron Corbin. He used to be a big deal, United States Champion and all that. But then, poof, gone! WWE released him in November, just like that. Heard he went somewhere else, AEW I think they call it. More money maybe, or maybe just wanted a change, these young folks are restless, you know? Ain’t like us old timers, we stick with what we know.
Then there’s them girls, Tegan Nox and Indi Hartwell, they got released too, same time as Baron. Indi, she was even a champion in that NXT thing, whatever that is. Youngsters like it, all that flippin’ and floppin’. Me? I like the good ol’ fashioned wrasslin’, none of that fancy stuff. But these girls, they were pretty good, I guess. WWE let ’em go though. Just like that, outta work. It’s a tough business, this wrestling, ain’t no job security, that’s for sure.

That’s just November, mind you. They been lettin’ folks go all year long, seems like. In October, who knows how many got the boot? They don’t tell ya everything, these big companies. Keep it all hush-hush. But word gets around, you know, in the wrestling world. Folks talk.
This whole thing with wrestlers leavin’ and gettin’ released, it happens every year, they say. Like spring cleanin’, but with people instead of dust bunnies. But this year felt like a lot, even for me, and I seen a lot of wrestling in my time. Big names, small names, they all just come and go. It’s a revolving door, I tell ya. One minute they’re on TV, the next they’re gone.
Makes ya wonder, what’s gonna happen next? Who’s gonna stay, who’s gonna go? It’s like a soap opera, this wrestling. Always somethin’ dramatic happenin’. But that’s why folks watch, I guess. They like the drama, the excitement. Me? I just like to see a good match. Don’t care much for all the backstage politics and firin’ and hirin’.
Anyways, that’s the scoop on them WWE releases in 2024, as far as I know it. Lots of changes, lots of folks movin’ around. It’s a crazy business, this wrestling, but it sure is entertainin’. Keeps ya on your toes, that’s for sure. And who knows, maybe them wrestlers that got released, maybe they’ll come back someday. Stranger things have happened, I tell ya. This wrestling world, it’s full of surprises.
Just gotta wait and see what happens next. That’s all you can do. And maybe watch a little wrestling, if you got the time. It ain’t like it used to be, but it’s still somethin’.
