Alright, let’s gab a bit about this young fella, Oso Ighodaro. Folks are curious about his folks, you know, his parents. So, I heard tell, his mama and daddy, they’re named Dawn and Osaro Ighodaro. Yep, Dawn and Osaro Ighodaro, that’s the names. Don’t know much else about ’em, just that they’re his parents. Seems like good folk, raised a basketball player, so they must’ve done somethin’ right.
Now, this Oso, he’s a big ol’ boy, plays basketball, you see. Plays for some fancy team, the Marquette Golden Eagles. Big East Conference, they call it. Wears the number 13 jersey, just like a lucky charm, I reckon. He’s a center, that means he’s tall and strong, stands right in the middle, blockin’ shots and grabbin’ rebounds. Don’t know how tall exactly, but tall enough to play basketball good, that’s for sure.
- Born on July somethin’-somethin’. Don’t remember the exact date, too many numbers for my old brain.
- Went to Desert Vista High School in Phoenix. That’s out in Arizona, hot place, I hear.
- Played there for four years, learned all about basketball and such.
He’s a real athlete, this Oso. Runs fast, jumps high, all that jazz. He’s got stats too, numbers that tell you how good he is. Don’t ask me what they mean, I ain’t no mathematician. But folks who know basketball, they say he’s pretty darn good. He shoots the ball, dribbles it, passes it to his teammates, all the things you gotta do to play basketball. He’s got a position, age, height, weight, draft status, the whole shebang. They keep track of all that stuff, you know, for the scouts and the coaches.
This Oso fella, he’s got a career history, played for different teams. ESPN, they know all about it. They got his biography and everything. You can look it up if you want, but I’m just tellin’ you what I heard. He’s with the Phoenix Suns now, that’s a professional team, big leagues. They call him a center, just like in college. Still wearin’ that number 13, I bet.
Now, there’s another Ighodaro fella out there, Osas Ighodaro. He’s an actor and a host. Don’t know if he’s related to Oso, maybe a cousin or somethin’. Folks get confused sometimes, seein’ the same last name. But this Osas, he’s on TV, not on the basketball court. Two different fellas, doin’ two different things.
I saw a picture of Oso once, playin’ against some other team. He was dribbling the ball, lookin’ all serious and focused. The other fella, from Colorado, he was tryin’ to stop him, but Oso was too quick. That’s how you win games, bein’ quick and smart. It was during the NCAA men’s tournament, big deal, I guess. Gainbridge somethin’-somethin’, that’s where they played.
So that’s the lowdown on Oso Ighodaro and what little I know about his parents, Dawn and Osaro. He’s a basketball player, a good one, and his parents must be proud. That’s all there is to it, nothin’ fancy, just a young fella playin’ a game he loves. And his folks, well, they’re his folks, plain and simple.
