Well, well, well, looks like there’s a new champion comin’ to the League of Legends family, and his name’s Hwei. Now, if you’re like me, you’re probably wonderin’ when exactly this feller’s gonna show up, and I’m here to tell ya all the details, nice and simple like.
First off, folks who play League of Legends on the PBE (that’s the Public Beta Environment for those not in the know) will be able to try out Hwei starting November 21, 2023. That’s right, in just a few days from now! So if you’ve been hankerin’ to get a sneak peek, you best be ready.
But if you ain’t into messin’ with the PBE, don’t worry none. Hwei’s official release date on the live servers is set for December 6, 2023. That’s the big day, when all them folks on regular servers will finally get their hands on him. This release date’s special too, ‘cause it’s gonna line up with the last patch of the year, patch 13.24. Ain’t that somethin’?
Now, if you’re itchin’ to pick up Hwei, you’re gonna need to save up some of that blue essence. He’ll be available in the shop starting December 5, 2023, and will cost you 7,800 shards of blue essence. You better start grindin’ if you ain’t got that much saved up already, or else you might be waitin’ a while to get your hands on him!
Now, let’s talk a little about Hwei himself, shall we? This new champion is a ranged mage, which means he’s gonna be hittin’ enemies from far off, so you’ll need to be quick on your feet if you’re up against him. He’s got some mighty powerful abilities too. He can enter a “disastrous mood” (whatever that means!), and when he does, he can use all kinds of fire, lightning, and lava attacks. Sounds like a real handful, don’t it?
Hwei stands at 178 centimeters tall when he’s standin’ up straight—about 5 feet 10 inches. But if he’s slouchin’, he’s a bit shorter, between 173 and 175 centimeters, or 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches. Ain’t too tall, but he’s certainly got some presence, especially when he’s bringin’ that fire and lightning down on ya!
One of his special tricks is when he hits an enemy with two of his damage-dealin’ spells. When he does that, he leaves his signature on the ground right beneath his enemy. This signature doesn’t just hang around though—it’ll blow up after a short delay, so you’ll have to be quick to avoid it. Kinda sounds like a trap, don’t it?
So there you go, folks. December 6, 2023, mark it on your calendars! That’s the day you can get your hands on Hwei and see if you’ve got what it takes to control the fire, lightning, and lava he’s got in his arsenal. It’s gonna be a wild ride, and I reckon we’ll all be watchin’ to see how this feller shakes up the game. You better get ready, cause he’s comin’ in hot!
