Now, the lineups aren’t always there super early. Teams usually release them about an hour before kick-off. So, I checked the time. It was getting close to that one-hour mark.
The app has a specific tab or section for ‘Lineups’ or ‘Starting XI’ within the match screen. I tapped into that. Initially, it might say ‘Lineups not available yet’. That happened. No big deal.
So, I just kinda kept the app open, maybe checked some other scores, then went back to the match screen and pulled down to refresh it. Did this a couple of times.
After maybe the third refresh, boom, the lineups popped up. Al-Ittihad’s starting eleven and formation on one side, Al-Taawoun’s on the other. Also showed the subs for both teams which is handy.
I scanned through the names, looked at the formations they were supposedly using. Just wanted to see if any key players were missing or if there were any surprises. Nothing too shocking this time around, looked pretty standard based on recent games.
