Okay, so I’ve been getting really into fishing in Elder Scrolls Online lately. It’s surprisingly relaxing, and the rewards can be pretty decent. But honestly, finding all the different fishing spots was a pain. I was constantly alt-tabbing to look up locations, which totally broke the immersion. So, I decided to create my own fishing map. Here’s how I did it:

Getting Started
First, I realized I needed a way to track where I’d already been. I tried just remembering, but yeah, that didn’t work. My brain’s not that good. I’ve tried marking them by hand!
Gathering the Data (Lots of Fishing!)
This was the fun, but time-consuming part. I basically just…fished. A LOT. I picked a zone, started at one end, and systematically worked my way across the entire map. Every time I found a fishing hole, I used to take screenshots.
It took forever, especially in some of the bigger zones. But hey, at least I got a ton of fish out of it! I was practically swimming in Perfect Roe.
Putting It All Together
I also use my phone to record my voice memos and remember these locations, It took me several days, but slowly but surely, my fishing map started to take shape.
The Final Result
It’s not fancy. It’s not interactive. But it’s mine. And it works! Now, when I want to go fishing, I just pull up my map. No more alt-tabbing, no more frustration. Just pure, relaxing fishing goodness.

It might be a little rough around the edges, but it’s my own little project, and it’s made my ESO fishing experience so much better. Maybe I’ll even add more details to it over time, like what bait works best in each spot. Who knows!
